** NCAA: Championship Bowl Games **

Chasing Records and our In The Huddle feature continues to focus on the Bowl Games during the most exciting time of the year for college football!
As always, your comments, thoughts, predictions, and verbal jabs are welcomed as we continue to talk college football and break down the Championship Bowl Games!

** Rose Bowl **
Wisconsin(11-1) vs. TCU (12-0)
Wisconsin makes its way back to the Rose Bowl after an 11 year absence; however TCU will be the first team from a non-automatic qualifying conference to be in the Rose Bowl since the start of the BCS era. The game will be interesting to watch to see if TCU can match the power of Wisconsin — TCU’s defense is the best in the country statistically, but they have been playing inferior opponents all year. They will have to buckle up their chin straps for this game because Wisconsin is not New Mexico, and will run right at you with smash mouth football.
TCU will get their chance to show that they can play with the big boys as they will move to the Big East Conference in the 2012 -2013 season. But they need to get through this game first and I’m just not convinced that they have the guys to match-up with Wisconsin’s offensive line and their powerful running game.
Bowl Game Prediction: Wisconsin 38, TCU 21

** Sugar Bowl **
Ohio State (11-1) vs. Arkansas (10-2)
This may be the last time that we get to see Terrelle Pryor put on the Scarlet and Grey now that there are 5 starters for Ohio State that will be suspended for the first 5 games of next season. For this game, I look for Ohio State to come out with some fire as they will take on an SEC team Arkansas. The one thing I’m worried about in this game as an Ohio State fan is the Buckeye secondary. They are down to 3rd string in both safety spots and Arkansas is a pass first team with one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Ryan Mallett. So that match-up is really what you want to look as the SEC’s best passing offense faces the Big 10’s best passing defense.
Bowl Game Prediction: Ohio State 27, Arkansas 24

** BCS National Championship Game **
Auburn (13-0) vs. Oregon (12-0)
The elite Media would really like you to think that this will be a game! Personally, I don’t see it that way as Oregon is nothing but a gimmick offense and a small defense. Auburn quarterback Cam Newton out weighs 8 of the 11 Oregon defensive players. The Heisman Winner should have no problem running all over Oregon’s defense. Oregon couldn’t stop Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor last year in the Rose bowl. What makes you think they are going to stop Cam Newton? Not happening!
There has also been arguments on the other side that Oregon is too fast paced of an offense. That really doesn’t matter when they will go against guys that are bigger and faster then they are like the Auburn defense. Oregon’s offense relies on running back LaMichael James, but he is only 5-9 and 180 pounds. The Pac Ten doesn’t see the Athletes that’s the SEC has. So on that note, be sure to pre-order your Auburn National Championship gear! But also get ready to burn it as the NCAA will eventually drop a bomb on Cam Newton after the Bowl season is complete — the magical evidence will turn up once all the games are played, all the ratings have have been counted, and all the revenue has been generated.
Bowl Game Prediction: Auburn 48, Oregon 17
